Aboard the International Space Station, Expedition 34 Flight Engineer Chris Hadfield of the Canadian Space Agency discussed life and research aboard the orbital laboratory with students in Airdie, Alberta during an in-flight educational event on Mar. 11. Hadfield will become the first Canadian commander of the outpost on March 13 when he takes over command of the complex from NASA’s Kevin Ford who returns to Earth with two Russian crewmates on March 14, U.S. time.
